Business is Business we get a cut of any sell on fee. 

Lad was going no where fast and contrary to popular opinion a football club can only survive by selling players - even some of it's better ones.

There will be other players coming through. Downgrading the academy was in my eyes are far worse crime than selling some of the products of it. Even if they had potential

Disappointed about kellett. Thought again he was one that showed promise. Still not convinced by the united loan he had. I just think they was short on players at that level in his position possibly. Yet again our academy benefits somebody else.

Overall it wasnt a bad transfer window. Would have been great with the addition of a striker. Not a young promising loanee, not a centre forward, someone who can actually score goals.

We have pratley and clayton to come back into the fold shortly and hopefully we will see a difference with those two. If not then its back to the drawing board and hoping we dont do a wigan ourselves.

At least we kept hold of our best players. I read that we turned down a bid for Mark Davies from a prem team

It could of been a lot worse than it was. Losing davies for me though wouldnt have been that bad. I imagine he is on a fair whack and the amount of time he spends either going missing from matches or on the injured list id rather have the dollar to spend on a striker.

I thought a club was interested in Medo. Apparently not.

Bristol was keegs but nothing came of it. Apparently belgrade may come in for him in the loan window

Medo is terrible.

Better than Spearing, let's give him a go. 

Think we need a bit more solidity than Danns and Mavies when we play good teams.

I actually rate Danns above Spearing and Medo, technically pretty awful but I do think he always works his arse off. 

You're right about the midfield though we don't have a true DM IMO.

Spearing actually played well in that role against Derby till he got sent off. Danns is a tryer but this season he has been poor so far, plenty of effort but not much quality.

I rate Danns above Spearing, but I think him and Mavies want to do too much getting up and down from midfield and they don't quite have the legs to do it. One of them alongside somebody sitting in would give us a little more solidity IMO.

Hey don't knock it. Bolton Council paying Holiday Inn a fortune for taking them. Might be able to pay a strikers wages for it. In fact develop West Stand and give Gartside a portacabin for his office in the car park. Fit another 200 of hundred in there and we could get 2 strikers - and have the debt paid
