I'm no pig but don't you feel that you need quite a few of the "shop bought" fish fingers to feel like you have had enough?
I personally think the home made ones are better as you can make chunky ones with a good tartar sauce.

Make sure you have some left for in the morning and then that is your breakfast sorted again.Chairmanda wrote:that sounds lovely kp. I'm making meatloaf, with a molten cheese filling...and I shall eat it, and then more and possibly even more...already done my 5 a day
I have never tried meatloaf and a bacon terrine for that matter too, they are high on my list to try as they look rather tasty.
I hope your meatloaf comes out of the oven fantastically tasty!

I'm having cod on garlic rainbow chard apparently. Looks a bit like rhubarb to me but I'll wager it tastes like shit.

If your Mrs is that bad a cook Finlay, have you not thought about sending her on a cookery course?finlaymcdanger wrote:I'm having cod on garlic rainbow chard apparently. Looks a bit like rhubarb to me but I'll wager it tastes like shit.

I'm not saying she is a bad cook. Its just that the stuff she likes to cook would be better in a rabbit hutch IMHO.

No but that's probably down to her being veggie.
I shouldn't complain, I grew up on Findus Crispy Pancakes, Heinz Beans and Pork Sausages and Chicken and Mushroom Pot Noodles (loaded with cheese).

Does she never cook meat just for yourself?
I suppose that at least you have some cod coming, it could be worse like Bonce with his imitation meat (Quorn) that apparently tastes shit.
I wouldn't blame you if you eat out often TBH.

Quarter pounders with cheese this evening and Bratwurst hotdogs with the usual cheese slices and onions. Blame Breadders!
Chocolate eclairs for desert.
