You can only beat what is put in front of you, and defeating USA, France, Australia and Belgium this year is pretty impressive, given the size of each country and the resources they have.
In any case, if they'd had to play Switzerland, GB would probably have won, given that Andy is ranked 2 in the world (behind only a Serbian freak of nature), and the Murrays are a far superior doubles partnership, as evidenced by their records, including a win this year against the USA's Bryan brothers.

Jimmy Connors once summed up Tennis. He said it is one of the most physically demanding games to play simply because there is no time limit. You have to be in great physical shape especially in the five set grand slam tournaments.
