I know most well probably not like any. But if you do which xmas songs /albums do you listen to? I've just loaded the elvis xmas album and the rat pack xmas album on to my car stereo.

The rat pack one is brilliant. Although rock a bye baby is slightly tinged by the casual racism (frank telling Sammy to keep smiling so the audience can see him) but Sammy gets his own back.

Anyway, come on, what are you going to listen to in the build up to xmas

Don't like Sammy. He thinks he's Brucie.

I like the Dylan Christmas album. Very Happy

This is going to sound really naff now but I'm posting it anyway.

When I was doing my A Levels and during the holidays from Uni I worked at the Coaching House and every year we had the same Christmas tape playing on a loop (back when it really was a tape before MP7's and whatever) and there's one song that still always reminds me of that time:

Driving Home For Christmas by Chris Rea.

Even now, if I hear it and close my eyes I'm back there in the late 80's, working with my mates, chasing girls, having a laugh and it always brings a smile to my face.

Sadly the Coaching House is now gone and I haven't seen any of the people I worked with for years but I will always look back on that period with some very fond memories.

Right, go on......take the piss.

No doubt she will, mate because it went on at about half eight in he morning when we were setting up and then ran all day until we threw out the last diners at last orders.

Elaine Brown had the only key to the cupboard and she wouldn't let anyone in to change it.

She'll know Elaine well. (Nice lady actually.)

Reminds me of being at burnden at Christmas and the whole burnden terrace bouncing up and down to it at half time. Against Leeds I think, not 100%.
