I got lots of lovely things...to play up to my posh rep, i did get a fortnum and mason hamper, which is amazing, and a very thoughtful friend tracked down a replica of a necklace I had lost earlier this year. I think I got the gifts I gave largely right as well. So far its been a good 'un, over to you football on Boxing Day to keep it going....

I got a great haul this year:

Two dashcams for both our cars

The First edition  box set of Fargo ( because some one on here said it was good)
Some Clarins for Men smeliies
23 books (some PG Wodehouse and assorted others)-paradise for me!!
A pair of joseph Siebel shoes
A new mobile telephone for use abroad.
And an Aran sweater
......and today Man Utd are getting beat.

On the downside Rammy is flooded, the Waterside at Summerseat has collapsed (its been empty for years) and people are being evacuated from their homes!!

I got a really nice watch off the boys, a set of James Bond blu-rays off the girls and Wendy's gift to me is none of your business

More seriously my best Christmas Present this year was seeing everyone sat around the table together and having fun. It was the first time we'd all been in one room at the same time since Wendy and I got married and well worth the effort we put into it over two full days. I'm even glad I couldn't have a drink because it means I'll be able to remember what an awesome day it was and how happy everyone looked as they opened the gifts Wendy and I got them. I always have preferred giving presents to getting them since my eldest was born and I feel really happy when I know we've got the right present for the recipient.
