The first five episodes destroyed me as a person. Crucial detail is well hidden within strong, black Baltimore accents. It's easy to lose the will to live trying to get the hang of it.

For the first few episodes, I recommend referring to online episode guide synopsis thingies to clear up bits that you don't understand, and for any bits throughout the whole series that you don't understand in fact. If you've got my attention spam, you'll be doing this quite often.

Killer Bean Forever - Action-packed. I'm a fan of computer graphics, and some of the things done in this movie was remarkable.

I want to relax when I watch TV, not spend my time checking everything online. I'll stick with Dexter thank-you.

Channel 4 at 9pm tonight looks to be very interesting. Unseen footage from the Twin Towers tragedy.

I don't know if anyone watched it but it just shows that all the sophisticated security systems in the World cannot prevent a multi-pronged attack.

What really fascinated me was how the security services were only being alerted to situations because of TV coverage.

I still firmly believe in the cockup theory of history not the conspiracy theory. Most conspiracy theories are completely ridiculous. Personal favourites include: the Americans faked the moon landing and were responsible for the Twin Towers atrocity.

One of my favourite lines from the Simpsons happens when Homer is abducted by aliens. He drops his trousers and bends over. The alien says "No we have learned everything we need from anal probes". Why do all those nutters who believe they have been abducted by aliens think that they would shove something up their arse?

I think you'd be hard pressed not to be suspicious about the JFK assassination.

the amount of incredible "coincidences" linked to that case make it very interesting reading.

The JFK assassination is certainly interesting. I think Oswald probably shot him but his murder by Jack Ruby raises all sorts of questions - particularly about mob and maybe others involvement. Was there a second shooter? I honestly don't know but it seems kind of improbable that a second shooter could have got his shot(s) off at exactly the same time as Oswald.

Oswald was obviously involved but i'd be stunned if he acted alone.

there were some fascinating characters in Dallas that day.

Umbrella man

Film and TV review. - Page 9 Umbrella-Man

Opened and lifted his Umbrella moments before JFK was shot, the man infront used a similar motion.

After the shooting they then sit together nonplussed.

As one of them men leaves he talks into a walkie talkie and then puts it in his belt.

Just two of the totally bizarre occurrences.

I am not sure we will ever know what really happened in Dallas that day. The one thing that makes me think that in this instance a conspiracy of some sort is possible is Ruby's behaviour.

The murder of Bobby Kennedy doen't seem to arouse the same suspicions. Most people accept that Sirhan acted alone.

I think there's just less interest in the RFK case because he wasn't the president, though there are some well known conspiracies there too.

I watched a programme postulating that there was a second gunman in that case too

There have always been a lot of unanswered questions in the JFK assassination. I find it impossible to believe that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. Likewise his killing at the hands of Jack Ruby, a nightclub owner, never really stacked up.

Back then, the FBI were pretty much a closed shop and you can bet your bottom dollar that they knew more than was ever disclosed.

The Human League song always stuck in my memory.

Channel 4 9pm tonight. The plot to bring down Britain's planes. Documentary about MI6's race against time to prevent carnage over the sky of England. A must see for me.

What a fascinating documentary. The USA are not restricted by EU legislation whereas our security services have to go through a myriad of hoops to gather evidence to secure a conviction. It's also obvious why America are at the forefront of surveillance technology.

Absolutely amazing stuff. Only the Yanks could turn up in Pakistan and pick off the ringleader in a matter of hours. I reckon money changed hands pretty quickly and the former head of the SIS is now a very rich man.

Yes there are but I am only interested in the Voice. Changing the subject, I am toying with the idea of buying the Box set series of the Boardwalk Empire and Blue Blood. Can anyone recommend them ?

Ok, I will just get Blue Blood on eBay. I thought Buscemi was brilliant in the Sopranos.
