I saw that a while ago, it was a good film, horrible scenes though...

Bugger! Despite my comments about the ending of series 1, I know I will end up hooked on series 2 of Homeland too.

Not interested. Crap ending to season 1 means season 2 will be crap. I'll re-watch Freaks & Geeks while it's on.

You won't, you'll watch it like everyone else and pretend you didn't like it.

Sorry, but no. One thing I don't do is give programmes a second chance.

A touch of cloth last night loved it, would not miss a second of it tonight even if I was touching cloth.

seeing the hurricane coverage got me thinking about that show "Treme" again.
have never seen it but considering it's written by David Simon (the wire) surely it's good?
Anyone watched it?

Tried it but couldn't get into it at all (and I loved The Wire).

I would recommend the documentary "Restrepo" about the Iraq war.
follows american soldiers and shows the absolute shit and hell they had to put up with.
shocked me to be honest.

If you thought that was good read the book Black Hearts by Jim Frederick - again compelling true life / death events.
It makes you think.

The Thick of It back tomorrow but no Malcolm Tucker unfortunately. He raised abusive bullying to a whole new level.
