I really enjoyed the Sixth Sense. I was quite shocked at the end because I never saw it coming. Watching it the second time I was amazed how I missed it but I simply put it down to old age.

The film - The Others got me like that, so easy to spot the second time of watching it.

It's going to be a cracker. I have already identified half a dozen tosspots. The right one went tonight. Not enough eye candy for Loud Foulbreath. Sophie Lau is a proper stunner and if it doesn't work out on the Apprentice she can always get a job on BabeStation.

The Repo Man on Channel 4 now. I wonder if it could be AD?

I saw it for the first time the other night, RT and the thing that came into my mind was AD.
Could be a good topic for thread which TV/Celebrity does a poster remind you of on here.
Boggers = Norris, Coronation St
Michael Bolton = RIgsby, Rising Damp

I can imagine AD as a Repo Man but perhaps not as tactful as the Donegal Crew.
BWFC71/Amos, I imagine like David Brent in the Office.

How did Sophie get the boot last night? I think I now know why divorced older blokes go to places like Thailand for their holidays.

Anyone tried Revolution? The concept seemed good - living in a world where their is no electricity...
It's not very good, but strangely I have been sucked in and find I have to watch each and every episode.

Any body watching Hannibal? I got fed up with it after about 20 minutes.
Also can't get in to The Apprentice anymore. It just seems to be a repeat of what we have seen before. The contestants are the same horrible clones, the fake tension, the fake office and cafe, the endless bitching ...
This seems to happen with all the reality shows. They start as interesting, have a couple of good series, then end up almost parodying themselves. Examples include Big Brother, Come Dine With Me and Masterchef.

Can anyone recommend Game of Thrones. I'm toying with the idea of buying it for the school holidays.

Ok, I will sack it. What about Breaking Bad? Is it worth me buying the first series?
Also, is The Wire worth buying?

Hipster doesn't like fantasy, even though there's very little fantasy.

I disagree - I think Game of Thrones is good and worth seeing.
Not a fan of Breaking Bad although it has had a lot of praise.
The Wire is the best series ever as far as I am concerned. Definitely worth buying because it is difficult to understand what is going on in the first couple of episodes so it is good to have a chance to spend some time with it. The depth of characterisation, plotting and acting in all five seasons is stunning. I hope you give it a try.
