I slipped on a Health and safety poster last week. It had fallen off the wall, stood on it and went flying. Laminated posters and concrete floors don't mix.whatsgoingon wrote:It is to most people but I have a feeling that it wouldn't be in your handsboltonbonce wrote:I'd buy it. Nope, not this week....Norpig wrote:you been threatening your student neighbours again Johnny?
We had a bang on the door not last saturday, the saturday before about 8 in the morning. Went and answered the door in my tshirt and boxers (nat wouldve loved that!) And theres 6 plod stood there and 2 riot vans asking me if i was this bloke ive never heard of.
Anyway i said no and they kept asking me questions. I had to go get id and everything and they kept looking at me weird. Anyway, they were being proper shitty with me and said they might be back later. I said whatever and slammed the door.
Went in, sat down in my chair and my lad comes trundling down the stairs, looks at the fireplace and says "daddy, buddys left a note saying dont tell daddy but it was me!"
In my head obviously i said "OH FUCK!"
as you know we are doing the elf on a shelf and the night before i drew merry xmas on my forehead, a picture of an elf on one cheek and buddy was here on my other cheek with snowflakes etc all over my face.
And id been to the door like that.
To the police.

Sherlock on the Beeb starring Beryl Cumsatchel and that hobbit from The Office.
Waited 12 months for this and it turned out a bit rubbish.
Up its own arse, full of plot holes and self-involved, navel-gazing bollocks which not only didn't add to the plot, but actually made it a confusing pile of incoherent tripe.
Not impressed.

I don't have a cousin Boris. ( I don't think and if I do I hope it's not that cunt in London with the daft hair.)
And what's with the Amos thing anyway?
You running out of ideas?
I thought you had loads?

Was really disappointed with Sherlock. It's begun to delight in its own cleverness, and I found myself praying for the cliche ridden end.
I've thoroughly enjoyed it,but, sadly, the game is no longer afoot. It's up. RIP.

I knew it wasn't just me.
Cheers.
If those memory stick thingies were so important, would you really send your team of crack troops into action (where they may well get caught) with them on a piece of string round their necks?
No, would you balls.....

Just watched second episode of Quarry. It looks promising.
Funniest thing I saw over the holidays was Peter Pan Goes Wrong.

Agree on Sherlock. I didn't even get through it without falling asleep. I'll stick to Come Dine With Me from now on.

Just read the reviews in The Graun and it appears we're not alone.
I think "universally panned" would be a bit strong but there's plenty of malcontent amongst the comments.

Print this off and when you're feeling the urge, get it out of your pocket and think back to calmer times, mate:
