The Mash Report - a real mixed bag ranging from the brilliant and hilarious Geoff Norcott presenting a pro-Tory view to the frankly embarrassing and unfunny interviews done by Andrew Hunter Murray.

Back from town and I'd like to watch something action - packed lowbrow like Jack Reacher right now but the missus wants bleedin' Suits which is so journalista scripted and overstylised it's more a niche magazine than a TV show.
Let's negotiate.

Apologies. I was a bit sarcastic about that TV show but had forgotten that the bird on Suits is probably going to become a princess of this realm. Apologies again Your Royal Highness.

I saw Dunkirk at the cinema last week.
It was good but somehow I felt a bit disappointed in it.
I guess it was impossible to portray 400,000 men on the beach and all the action that must have been taking place there.
Worth a watch though when it pops up on the telly.

1958 film, "Dunkirk" tells the story from the "Little ships" crew point of view and is still quite good. I too wasn't overly impressed with the latest but as long as it keeps people talking of it then I suppose it keeps history alive.

First episode of "The State" last night and it looked really promising (part 1 of 4) telling a story about young British Muslim boys and girls who went to join Islamic State in Syria - for a range of reasons and with varying degrees of naivety - and what happened to them. Compulsive viewing IMO.

I'm going to watch 'The Prisoner' from start to finish. Again.

Well it is written by Ben Elton so that's no surprise.

I've seen a couple of them.
It's bearable, but has no edge to the humour, rather tired and predictable.
