Haven't seen series 3 yet but the first two series are both good.

I've been recommended Broadchurch.
Has anyone else seen this and agree it's worth a watch?

I agree. The second series is crap and you don't really need to watch it if you want to skip to series 3.

It really wasn't. It was a poor man's Law & Order.

Has there ever been a good Hollywood remake? I just watched the 2013 remake of Evil Dead. It's complete rubbish and a pale imitation of the 1981 original.

Of course, if you don't agree it must be wumming.
Law & Order was a great show, lasted a hell of a lot longer than The Wire as well.

Well by that definition Crossroads was one of the best shows ever.

Never watched it, so I can't comment.
Try watching Law & Order before you judge.

I can't comment on Law & Order because I've never watched it but I do think The Wire was one of the best television drama series I have seen.
There are currently three series I'm watching at the moment (all nearing their final episodes) which I think are good and I am happy to recommend: The Americans, The Handmaid's Tale and Fargo.

I'm happy to avoid them. I watched the first season of The Americans but it bored me.
I am currently watching the complete 6 seasons of Scandal which is incredibly addictive.

I'm currently watching a series called Chance. The main character is Hugh Laurie who plays Eldon Chance, a psychiatrist. He falls for one of his patients who has a chequered past and is married to a bent cop. It's a good thriller and one that I'm enjoying.
The femme fatale is played by Gretchen Mol of Broadwalk Empire fame.
