Paul Kantner, a founding member and singer-guitarist of rock band Jefferson Airplane, has died from multiple organ failure and septic shock. He was aged 74.

They're dropping like flies these days. RIP Paul and thanks for all the brilliant music.

Yeh happens to us all at some point in time.
He brought pleasure to HP and me also. Certainly more pleasure than the half witted comment you made re his death.
But one man's meat is another man's poison.
RIP

Jefferson Airplane was one of my favourite bands. This was the first I had heard of Paul's death.

Apparently Signe Anderson (the singer before Grace Slick in JA) also died on the same day as Kantner.

No probs Biggie. Perhaps I got a bit shitty also.
Every time I go to a gig I view seeing the artist as probably the last time!
I'm hoping Percy Young keeps going till I've seen him at Leeds in June. I believe his health is up and down and I'll be pissed off if he doesn't come over.
xmiles I knew they had a singer before GS but never really heard any stuff with her singing, if indeed there is.
Quite ironic they should pass away on the same day. No doubt PK pleasured himself with her before GS came on the scene?
