We can get rid of all the illegal immigrants was the best answer I got when I asked that question at work this morning.

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

David Cameron has just chucked it and said there should be a new PM by October!

I'm quite shocked how all this has turned out tbh.

We are now staring down the barrel of the Johnson / Trump Dream Team inside a year.

And that, kiddies, is a fucking scary thought.....

I've just had a Polish girl in my office in tears.

She's lived here for four years now, has worked and contributed to our economy throughout that time and she's terrified.

She's got an 18 month old baby with her partner (who also works full-time) and she's asking me questions about the future that I can't answer.

And I feel terrible for her.

And the thousands like her who are waking up today being told they are no longer welcome in this country.

And that's not the Great Britain I have always been proud to say was my country.

And I swear I'm not making this next bit up now:

I ordered 4 new temps from the agency to start today and received a list of names before I went home yesterday - Marcin Prozcek, Piotr Waszalusko, Jordan Daniels and Sean Smith.

Two turned up, two spewed it.

Guess which....?

EU migrant labour, that's who.

Because they are prepared to come to work for £7 an hour.

British jobs haven't been lost because we suddenly got swamped by a load of Poles who came over here and displaced the indigenous workforce, we invited them over to plug a gap in the market.

So if they now get sent home, where does that leave us?

Aren't the Europeans that work here protected by something called the Vienna convention? Surely you can't just take their jobs off them and tell them to piss off?

This is a disastrous day for the UK. Our kids and grandkids will pay the price for our myopia and xenophobia in a big, big way for a very long time to come.

I fully expect to see a second Scottish Independence referendum within three years given that they voted overwhelmingly to remain in the EU and this time the SNP will walk it. Northern Ireland will also want to go its own way as they too voted massively in favour of Remain. It's not just economically catastrophic, it probably spells the end of Great Britain itself. Within a decade I can see us being four tinpot little countries with no real influence or power anywhere in the world.

Those of you crowing about "victory for freedom" might want to make a note of this date because this is the day the UK died.

No idea, mate.

It's all to do with residency criteria and I haven't a clue how it's going to play out.

Nobody does.

They generally can't be arsed dragging themselves away from Jeremy Kyle to go and vote in "normal" elections (as proven by their shock and surprise yesterday at being asked to use a pencil in the polling booth) but spin 'em a bit of fear-ridden xenophobic tripe about foreigners coming over here and "stealing our jobs" and they were all waddling off to the Polling Stations in family packs to go and exercise their prerogative in massive numbers.

As Boncey says, we've fucked up here massively and it's going to cost us dear.

I said this weeks ago:

Who do you think makes your bread and your tins of beans and your bottles of washing up liquid that you can buy cheaply in the supermarket?

EU migrant labour, that's who.

Because they are prepared to come to work for £7 an hour.

Nobby The Scrote won't. He's happy to sit at home all day watching his plasma telly and playing FIFA on his X-Box and anyway, he can't work because of his "condition", so he claims DLA instead.

British jobs haven't been lost because we suddenly got swamped by a load of Poles who came over here and displaced the indigenous workforce, we invited them over to plug a gap in the market.

So if they now get sent home, where does that leave us?

Nobby won't get off his arse unless you pay him more than he would get in benefits or you force him to go to work, so he'll be demanding about £12 an hour.

And that cost's got to be recovered somewhere, so what do you think that means?

Prices will shoot up as manufacturers desperately try and protect their margins (and businesses) and we all wind up paying more for our goods and services.

Or, if the government decides that we can't afford for that to happen, Nobby will be told his days of claiming free money in benefits are over and he'll be frogmarched into a job and made to do 40 hours a week for the first time in his life.

But Nobby will be angry and resentful, so he'll toss it off and performance levels in British factories will turn to shit overnight and guess what....?

That'll drive prices up too!

So well done to anybody who voted for this shit yesterday and a massive thank you from British Industry - You've just shat all over us with your narrow-minded, ill-informed decision making.

I hope you're happy when PM Boris is telling you how wonderful everything is and how much better off you are.

I just hope at that point, you look in your empty pockets and the penny drops and you finally realise that you've been had.
Ok Bread I've just read this again after your last rant demanding facts, where are the facts in that fucking diatribe you've written. I'm pretty sure Jeremy Kyle's daytime viewing figures aren't 17m and I'm pretty sure that while there are some idle bastards at home who won't work (there always have been there always will be) there are also many pushed out of work by cheap labour.
There aren't "facts" because this is completely unprecedented so for you to come on here writing that load of foundation less bollocks and then demanding that people give you facts is arrogance at best and complete hypocrisy at worst.
How this all pans out over time remains to be seen and whether it hurts us or makes us stronger is part of that, initially there will be the usual knee jerk reactions and panic which is inevitable but no one knows what the long term consequences/benefits will be so to suggest you do via a load of rhetoric is ridiculous.

Yes the British Government now can deport pretty much anyone it wants to because the Vienna Convention doesn't apply unless you're sending the immigrant back into immediate danger to life etc. So all those Poles, Romanians etc doing the crappy jobs British people won't take can be ejected. However I doubt it will happen because even if you did send them all back British people still wouldn't take those jobs because they think it's beneath them to actually work for a living.

It would require a ruling from the UK Supreme Court and possibly an Act of Parliament to confirm it but there is nothing to stop a future Prime Minister (likely to be Boris Johnson and may God help us all) from saying every immigrant in the country's status will be reviewed regardless of origin. It's even possible (although difficult) to strip naturalised citizens of their citizenship like we did to three million people in Hong Kong. Xenophobia won a big victory last night and it's just the start.

It's hard for me to decide who is more responsible for this disaster. Cameron for calling the referendum in a futile attempt to placate the right wing loons in his party or Corbyn for his pathetic half assed remain "campaign". Corbyn's comments this morning show that he was a secret Brexiter all along as many of us supected.

The EU migrants would have to apply for a work permit I would have thought.

that isn't going to happen and certainly isn't what's been proposed it is about stemming the tide and gaining more control moving forward, not wholesale shipping back of people who are contributing.
This country allowed people to enter it long before the EU and will continue to do so afterwards, but we now get to choose and aren't at the beck and call of every EU passport holding chancer who fancies coming giving it a go here.

What makes it even worse is the sight of that gurning racist tool Farage calling it "Independence Day for the UK".

Hasn't that clown grasped what the vote actually means? Scotland and Northern Ireland will both look to go their separate ways and stay in the EU as separate states in their own right. Northern Ireland might stay in the UK thanks to its solidly Unionist Protestant population but Scotland will leave, the SNP will walk a second independence referendum and you'd better believe they'll call one in the next twelve months. This isn't just about Brexit, it's about the future of Great Britain itself and the Little England Brigade have just ensured that within ten years there won't be a United Kingdom.
