Wayne County was a transgender and changed name to Jayne. Not sure whether he had his nuts chopped in the process.

Going off the fcuking wailing on the song that Wanderlust posted I would say it was a dead cert the bastard had been neutered.

Just noticed the Tom Waits threads. Rain Dogs is the generally acknowledged classic in the Waits canon and rightly so.It's one of my favourite albums ever but does take a few plays and is a gem of an album when you get to know it.Here's a few tracks from it.

Played Manchester a couple of times. Bit like the Tubes or Alberto y Los Trios Paranoias - dubious tunes but a helluva show.

So sad to here of the death of another guitar legend today. Alvin Lee, formerly of the band Ten Years After and of the Woodstock film fame passed away today after routine surgery went wrong and complications set in.
The "wrinklies amongst us will remember "Love Like A Man" with it's hooky riff.
RIP

TYA were pretty much a blues band apart from one or two sojourns into the popular music charts, and I quite like that when I'm in the mood. Sad to hear Alvin's popped his clogs.Soul Kitchen wrote:So sad to here of the death of another guitar legend today. this one was a big hit for steve whittle[dj] at Wigan casino often wondered if he knew one of his records was having a new lease of life down the road. not bad for a white boy.

I'm chilling out to Tears For Fears tonight. This is one of my favourites. I wonder if they wrote it for the Taliban?
