Utter bollocks. The only difference between this lot and a vacuum cleaner is that you have to plug a vacuum cleaner in for it to suck.finlaymcdanger wrote:I'm enjoying this lot at the moment. Seems an appropriate song too given our start to the season.

All that time drinking skinny lattes in SoHo with that bloke from Sheffield has clearly had an effect on you, Gotham.
You used to like the Smiths and other proper music like that, "back in the day"......
When did you get all arty and shit?
I'm not saying it's wrong - it's just "different" and by definition.......scary.

I'm going to see Echo and The Bunnymen next week and have tickets to see The Damned at the end of October. Does that dig me out of this little hole?

Yes.
Thank God for that because you're one of the few links I've still got left on the interweb to better times when Bolton were actually qite good and we didn't have a debt larger than several African countries, the football wasn't completely shite and, more importantly, I need stability and continuity of thought.
606 is long gone, Madnotlobian's run off and joined a commune, Vera's fallen in with a bunch of Bulgarian poker players who use her for entertainment and Reebok Bricks is now running the country.
(Yeah, it was Cameron all along......bastard!)
The world's changed and I don't like it......

Haha... Reebok Bricks. What on earth was wrong with that guy? I kind of miss our spats with that wrong 'un.
Music has been tough for me since living here - I just haven't come across that many people on the same wavelength who recommend anything I'd be interested in listening to. Need to get myself on the Q and NME sites for am dig around. Having kids shut it all down for a me for a few years too and I haven't half had a tough time finding anything new that I like these days. Hence, going to see the Bunnymen and what remains of The Damned.
Mogwai have been top of the playlist for years now and I do enjoy a good I Am Kloot session on the train in the morning… makes me miss home. Anyhow, send anything my way. I'm an old punk at heart… Strummer and The Mescaleros… loved the whole Madchester scene… Pixies… Mogwai and most post rock stuff… then lost.

I haven't got any links to decent music vids at the moment Fin, but here's a picture of an old man falling off a bike.
Hope this helps:

Bread. Let it lie. So I fell off my bike. Shit happens. Anyway it didn't have a basket on the front. (just one in the saddle) for most of the way at least. The trick is knowing how to land. I should really learn to keep my big gob shut.
