A couple of years ago I was suffering from insomnia, and a few people told me to go on youtube and search out things like crackling log fires,or rain hitting a tin roof. Very relaxing apparently.Norpig wrote:how did you stumble on this by the way Boncey? You must know all the dark corners of youtube by now
It worked too.
Someone else suggested ASMR. Rather than bang on about it,I'll give you a link. You need to wear headphones to experience ASMR fully.
A word of warning. Steer clear of Dr Dmitri, and Tony Bomboni. I have to fight their lunacy on a daily basis. Bomboni is particularly dangerous. Anyone who wants to massage your scalp with chopsticks isn't to be trusted.
If Nat is looking for 'weird',she'll find the world of ASMR is ripe with it.

Because you watched it and asked questions.
What are you doing at the weekend, watching a bloke iron his underpants?

Boncey is a real life Mr Bump, he is employed by the public sector to have random accidents and keep all the services busy

I can't spend anymore time on this nonsense, too many jobs to do.
Just keep that Bomboni away from me.

Things were going well until yesterday. I was pushing a wheelie bin full of old metal bits across to our van, when the wind took hold of the lid and blew it back. Wouldn't normally matter, but the bin was on a trolley, thus raising it several inches higher than it actually is.
So the bin lid blew back and smacked me in the face. Painful, but no loss of blood. It did, however, damage the arm of my specs.

Too many jobs? At your age your main job is trying to stay awake and not to pick your piles isn't it?Cajunboy wrote:I can't spend anymore time on this nonsense, too many jobs to do.
