Got a week off work now, and, looking at the weather forecast,I've timed it just nicely.

I'm hoping I don't have to resort to gluing things to my head for the purposes of entertainment but,

you never know.

Oh joy! You really couldn't make this up. Razz

A fraudster who met her victim on a dating website for naturists scammed him out of £50,000.
Moira Etchells, 45, met Ian Chatting-Tonks in 2013 and persuaded him to lend her the cash to start a business artificially inseminating cows.

I'm always on the lookout for decent slippers.
I've reached that age where I toddle off to the corner shop in them, with not a hint of shame.
So what if I forget to put my pants on. We're all grown ups.
Apart from the kids going to school of course, but I'm sure they've seen worse on that Facetube thing.

 i said to the missus you could quite easily wear them outside with the sole on them.

And you be careful letting it all hang out in this weather.

I used to see a pensioner out and about in my area in his slippers.

Do you go on errands in your slippers Bonce? Very Happy

Yes. I'm a trendsetter.
I once caused a sensation by wearing slipper socks. Pretty daring, but I've got the feet to pull it off.
One thing to remember when wearing slippers is that bobbles are a no no.
And Mules are NOT slippers. Slippers have a back. It's the law.
It's all very well Clint Eastwood making a film about them, but Mules are as much slippers as Nat is a woman.

I had a pair of those mule type slippers once. It was always a case of when coming down the stairs they would be down before you were. Very Happy

Whoever invented the backless slipper doe want shooting though as they are bloody dangerous!

It's a bit like a pie in a pub.

A small bowl of brown gunge with  a pastry lid on,  is NOT a pie.

Damian Green has quit. At last.

Good riddance.

Sounds as though he's been telling porkies and has been found out -

He quit after he was found to have made "inaccurate and misleading" statements about what he knew about claims pornography had been found on a computer in his Commons office in 2008.
In his resignation letter, Mr Green apologised for his actions.

The truth will out. Lying just makes the situation worse,as many others have discovered. Can't see a way back for him now.

Been reading an article on the BBC about sporting statues, and this one, supposedly portraying Ted Bates, always has me on the floor.
