Defender David Wheater has been named as Wanderers' PFA Community Champion for the 2016/17 campaign.
Receiving his award at the club's recent home game with Chesterfield, the centre-half - who has been with the Whites since 2011 - has been right at the heart of the local area all season long.
From visiting Whizz Kids - one of the club's charity partners for the current season - to visiting sick children in hospital and delivering gifts donated by the players themselves at Christmas, the 30-year-old also played a special part in Key 103's Christmas Break-In.
Surprising the Warings whose baby son Ted is currently undergoing treatment for a brain tumour, he turned up at their house to deliver Bolton Wanderers themed gifts while the family were also invited to Wanderers' New Year's Eve game against Scunthorpe as guests of chairman Ken Anderson.
A true stalwart of the club, Wheater knows just how important community matters are for the football club with him only too happy to help out.
"As players, we know how crucial it is to give something back to the community and I've been very lucky this year to get many opportunities to do just that," he said.
"We are in a privileged position and having been at the club for so long now, I know just how much we can strengthen the relationship with Bolton and the football club as a whole with what we do in the community.
"It's nice to be recognised like this, but ultimately I'm just happy to be able to give something back and hopefully put some smiles on faces."
