Cameron with the unnecessary 'Brexit' referendum in the first place, then May WEAKENING her power by embarking on a general election that wasn't planned for another three years (although I could see her logic for doing it).
Now we've got May having to form a coalition government with Arlene Fosters DUP who herself is a sort of 'mini-me' Theresa May with the massive on going scandal in Northern Ireland of the Renewable Heat Insensitive Scandal (link below)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renewable_Heat_Incentive_scandalIt seems May has undermined her own authority to negotiate Brexit with the EU and such how can her position as Prime Minister be tenable and good for the country?
It seems to me that we've got a lame duck PM, leading the country into a Brexit deal propped up in power by the Northern Irish DUP (Northern Ireland voting to REMAIN in the EU -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-36614443 ) that probably the majority of the country no longer wants - certainly not the people of the party that will now be propping up the Government!!!
It's going to be a nightmare negotiating Brexit - the EU knowing she has failed disastrously to get the mandate from the country she sought - and in Parliament where all the other party's will be opposed to any sort of deal she is seeking to get.
I can't see this being good for anyone.
To my way of thinking the only way out of this stupidity is to re-endorse the will of the country to want Brexit - and the only way to do this is by a second referendum.
If it still returns the country's desire for Brexit, then it gives whoever is in government the mandate to continue (and shuts up the 'remoaners' and their pettiness and bitterness in steering Brexit through Parliament) and if it 'overwhelmingly' shows Remain then we then go cap in hand to the EU seeking a way to stay in the EU and end the Article 50 exit that we are currently going down.
The bigger picture needs to be addressed for the future of us all.
