Easy win for Murray. Good to see he has Stoneface back in his corner.

Oh I say! To coin a phrase. Never had a bet on tennis in my life. Too many variables.
Well done to you though.

Strangely enough, I've never had a bet on the tennis either. I don't know why but it's something I have never even considered.

In play bets are good as they can change so much on depending on how a certain game is going etc. I just wanted to make the Murray match a little more entertaining as we all knew it would be an easy win.

Did you see the Russian guy having a temper tantrum yesterday, throwing coins toward the umpire.
Sore loser.

I missed that! I watched the Konta and Murray matches in between doing household jobs. I have to say I was very impressed with Konta because her opponent was no slouch and put up one heck of a fight.

Yes. Didn't he try to get someone ejected from the court? Don't know what the coins were supposed to signify, but was silly.

He was suggesting the umpire was bribed. Not heard the last of this.BoltonTillIDie wrote:Yes. Didn't he try to get someone ejected from the court? Don't know what the coins were supposed to signify, but was silly.

That is one extremely painful knee injury. I can remember some years when fast bowler, David " Sid " Lawrence was running up to bowl and his kneecap split in half live on TV. It sounded like a gunshot had gone off. I seem to recall Beefy getting very irate with the press because they were taking pictures and recording the event while Lawrence was being treated.

Lawrence never played cricket again after that injury and I wouldn't be surprised if Bethanie has to retire as well.
