There is no investment?
Ameobi is a winger not a number 10 in a positional sense. Hall is a striker I believe, Vela can play deeper.

Hopefully Ameobi will be moved on anyway. Having a player who steps up once every 7 or 8 games isn't good enough. He was pretty useless from the Bristol City game onwards.

Nah, we need pace and flair. He’s a must keep, nobody else can beat a man. Even against Forest he carved out a few openings from nowhere, nobody managed to finish off.

Ireland was a good player but how many games has he played in the last 3 or 4 years? I would keep Ameobi if we can, he can be hit and miss but he does have quality.
Hopefully Oztumer will be confirmed soon and we have Lowe who was decent at Blackburn but still desperately low on numbers.
I agree with Nat on Flanagan, a waste of time and don't want him to come back.

He's the new Mark Davies. Once every 7 or 8 games isn't good enough, I'd sooner buy a replacement who was perhaps less gifted, but produced more than once a month or so.

Ignore Nat she wears beer goggles when Ameobe gets a mention. The Mark Davies comment is also rubbish it was about injuries with MD he was another with great ability and yes a tad frustrating.

It's a myth that Mavies had ability - he did absolutely nothing at Bolton, except create the record for most anonymous appearances in a Bolton shirt.
As for the haircut, you keep going on about him "unlocking defences" but he actually had ZERO assists from March onwards. Guess how many goals. Again, it's just a myth about his creativity. Too many times he just runs into trouble. Le Fondre had more goal assists and he was on the bench most of the season.
