They definitely did do it for me as the stains on my armchair will testify.

Use this.

Matchday 12 to  curent day is the best indicator after our awful start.

Really don't think we should lose sight of the fact that we are 2 points out of the relegation zone. Don't want to sound like a wet blanket but the players need to know they are in a dogfight and as good as this table makes us look, all we have achieved is to get back into the race - so to survive they have to do it all over again. Hopefully they will.

If we don't win at QPR its going to be squeaky bum time for Ken against Sunderland

It will be anyway.

If we win at QPR all the pressure is on Sunderland to get a result from the match rather than us.
A defeat by us would put them a minimum 7 points behind us in that scenario which would be a disaster for them

Every season we get a couple of teams, who, out of the blue, put together a run of two or three back to back wins, that potentially save their season.
We need one of them to be us this season.

Norwich won't be easy but we have a chance of winning both the QPR and Sunderland games. We need to really.

Not good losing to QPR. Now we've lost control of our own destiny as it were seeing as the two teams behind us, Barnsley and Hull both have a game in hand.

I'm wondering where we'll get the goals we need from. Since Madine left, Ameobi ran the length of the pitch to finish with an inch perfect shot and ALF volleyed a cracker just over the goalie - not what those players can do week in week out. We just don't seem to be able to create enough clear cut chances to get tap ins and the run of the mill goals we should and need to be getting. Goals like Sammy and ALFs should be the icing on the cake, not our only hope. Maybe with Pratley back we'll get a better grip on midfield? He was playing well before his injury and perhaps there's a better chance of finding killer passes if we can get higher up the pitch in numbers, but I have a feeling that something isn't quite right and we'll struggle.

Ameobi's on his 6 game anonymous run, we won't see him again until mid-March.

Wilma will no doubt be key in the remaining games.

An horrific night for Sunderland and Barnsley and obviously great results for us.I would say this is the best position we've been in to avoid the drop all season. On the downside we are running out of easy home games

Best set of results ever, even the Burton win was good for us as it meant Barnsley didn't get that "new manager bounce".

And with our away form, that spells trouble.

We dragged Reading into the battle and now it's a seven team relegation watch (albeit Reading has a game in hand).  Hopefully there are three worse teams... our GD is now better than three other teams, who are all below us. Let's hope we can stay just above the others, even if we don't win pretty!
