If there was such a thing as a must win game this is it, if Parkinson sticks to form and plays it defensively we'll be lucky to get a draw, let them off the leash and we'll batter them.

After last Saturday's defeat to Cardiff, I fear the sale of Gary Madine may ultimately prove to be very costly. Of the 360 minutes we've played since he left the club we've only had 10 shots on target.
Our 4 strikers have scored a combined total of 2 league goals for Bolton this season and contributed only 1 assist.

Sammy Ameobi, our highest goalscorer this season with 4 from midfield, may well chip in with a couple more before the season but he's going to have to up his game with only a single assist so far.
Here's hoping I'm wrong, and that we bag 4 on Tuesday night, but right now my fingers are crossed for a scoreless draw and a distant dream that Rob Earnshaw will be tempted away from the Whitecaps FC 2 to rescue our season.

If we score first, their fans are suggesting they'll capitulate - but if we concede first we'll be in trouble. Kone and McNair could be a problem if they are fit enough to return, but getting our noses in front is the key for me in this one.Boggersbelief wrote:Sunderland are shit. Coleman looks clueless. We look half decent at home. We’ll scrape a win and scrap survival due to home form
