SK, its nothing to do with an arsole using his phone, its the fact that Carragher actually spat at a 14 year old girl, (also whilst he was driving). They should get rid of him completely

I am not defending his behaviour but I think the moron was actually spitting at the moron filming him and not the 14 year old who was sitting in the back of the second moron's car.

as disgusting as spitting is.  And i agree with all the above.  The guy was driving with his daughter in the car not paying attention to the road and filming on his phone.  Carra deserves sacking yes.  But this bellend needs arresting for putting lives (including that of his own 14 year old daughter) at risk.

I'm well aware of whats gone re. the girl glos. My point is the nob was driving his car when filming and using his mobile. I don't know about you but that would suggest to me that's his regular practice and as such he's not taken anybody out this time. You must be well aware that it's a criminal offence to use your mobile phone whilst driving, though stats reveal that folk think otherwise, and as such should face the conseqences!
Sure, Carragher should face the consequences, but this clueless dick has unwittingly set himself up for six points on his licence and a less than substantial fine!
For the record anybody using the mobile phone whilst driving is worse than any drink or drugs driver in my book and the consequences for all should be high. Certainly the former is well short of what the selfish bastards get!!
Now if you want to make a point that Carragher has been a dick then I will agree entirely but don't let it cloud the fact that the father has not committed a criminal offence and next time being spat at might be better than knocking down and injuring someone!!

Sk, absolutely agree 100% with what you say, but I feel that the emphasis has gone off the disgusting spitting incident, and is being drawn towards the illegal and stupid action of the driver. I have no argument with that side of things, but when this happens, it lessens the impact of the spitting, and Carragher is let off the hook somewhat.

Nothing will happen to driver unfortunately! Just hope he's not involved in an incident further down the line.
I'll conclude they both should be punished, they've both been dickheads.

Interesting now that the family don't want Carragher sacked. 
I wonder whether they want it to conclude forthwith to cover for the mobile phone misdemeanor and escape the consequences?

Diouf got slaughtered (and fined) for his spitting incident, rightly so, and so should Carragher. The driver is a smokescreen for the incident. He too should face punishment but the incident was Carragher spitting. If we are going to put in ifs and buts, Carragher wasn't wearing a seatbelt, he was driving without due care and attention and he's just a knobber anyway.

If the law is observed both will pay a price and deservedly so.
