Disgusted with Parky and the club. Need at least one win to stay up. Don't think Parky has the club any more... and a change may have made the difference. Capitulation is not acceptable and Parky should have been given gardening leave. Started out beyond poor in eleven matches, and finishing equally poor. Someone needs a kick in the rear and we MUST beat Burton now. We lost our advantage in not beating Brum and Barnsley. Totally inexcusable Parky.
Can we win a F**ken match or will we finish where we started?

Burton are buzzing and we are broken.
They'll have us beaten by half time and Parky won't have a clue how to respond because his benches are always manned by slow players. We'll be relegated by 3.45 next Saturday

I have to agree Rammy.
Parky seems to put a number of names in a hat and drawer them out the number of changes he makes for the start of each game.
Totally out of his depth at this level I'm afraid.

It will make no difference. How many managers does it take for us to know we don't have the correct ownership and infrastructure to compete at any level.

If we pull it off and do stay up are people in the mindset of chairman/manager/players out or is it a case of we’ve had a demoralising albeit completely expected hammering by a team that will probably finish mid table Prem next year and the clouds will pass with a win against Burton?
Good to see the optimism is alive and well.

I'd have sacked the manager already. Recent performances have been terrible.
I'd also release most of the team, only Henry and Alnwick have done themselves justice over the season.

Just wrote the same thing on another thread... hire Mick for 2 games and see what happens. Parky has lost the club.Natasha Whittam wrote:I'd have sacked the manager already. Recent performances have been terrible.

My ST will not be renewed if Parky is at the club next year whatever the outcome of the next two games. If we stay up it will be more of the same and that is not worth the effort to turn out for.
I know quite a few like minded folk on this matter.

A silver lining to relegation then.

Although it’s a shame, I get this. Why pay out to see end your weekends on something that has no entertainment value.
Without any investment though, I’d imagine we’re in for much of the same for the foreseeable future. At this level we are from midtable League One up to relegation fight Championship standard.

If you view BWFC as a product, this is quite correct. It's shoddy and made with upcycled materials. I have a couple of pieces of old furniture like that and my missus won't have them in the house so they're consigned to the garden shed aka "man cave" as she wittily calls it. The problem is that I'm very attached to them and the memories they evoke so I won't take them to the tip until they actually fall apart.

Good to see the optimism is alive and well.
IF we stay up, and the club are in a position to invest in half a new team next season, I'd thank Parky for two remarkable seasons and regretfully send him on his way with the biggest recommendation to the majority of League 1 clubs.
If we go down, which I think is highly likely, I'd thank Parky for everything he has done at the club but explain that we're going to rebuild with a different vision -young, exciting players who can play football on the ground which may take 2-3 seasons to gel in League 1 before challenging for promotion, and that we need a manager more suited to this approach.
However, and this won't be popular, I wouldn't be devastated if he manages us in League 1 for another season. He got us promoted last year and I can't believe we'd attract anyone head and shoulders above him with nothing to spend on improving the team.
I'm more concerned about what Anderson does with the club if we drop. I can't see it being pretty.

I reckon the players and manager have been far too complacent for the last couple of months, thinking the job was done. Pointed out that complacency was a danger 2 months ago.
Now Anderson comes out with this:
It's going to be difficult to turn the mentality of the players around from this position although I wouldn't have had a problem with the situation if they'd shown 100% commitment and focus in the intervening games, but I just don't believe they did and in my mind it reflects on the manager.
Now the equation is very simple. Parky's tenure will depend on whether or not we survive, not how we achieve it or what the fans want.

Should have listened when I said we had 8 "cup finals" left instead of banging on about shirt sales and how well we were doing back then.F*** Ken Anderson wrote:To use the old cliche, we now have two cup finals ahead of us and it is important that we dust ourselves down, don’t dwell on yesterday’s result, or what is happening elsewhere.

Parky answering the question by going down without a fight in the last two months, emulating the start of the season.

Why not play Connor Hall up top with ALF. Play two wide men,Morais,Buckley,Ameobi no 10 behind the top 2
Flat back 4 but with Little n Robinson as they’re attack minded.
One holding mid.
4-1-3-2 Le Fondres always so isolated.

Maybe this will happen as reading Anderson's latest notes, it sounds like he'll be telling Parkinson who's playing on Sunday, I just don't get why he would want Parkinson in the dugout at all, clearly he has lost the players, the fans, and now Anderson.Wanderers for 45 wrote:Why not play Connor Hall up top with ALF.
