Do any of you wear them? A few friends of mine have worn them for years, and swear they have great qualities, when it comes to easing the pain of arthritis.
Yet the medical experts say this is a myth, and insist that they have no medical benefits.
Can any of you speak from experience?
Norpig with a magnetic band on his wrist might be problematical, but I'd be interested to hear of any experiences.
My 88 year old Mum has decided they're the future. She got tired of the foot circulation machine, when she discovered she had to plug it in.

Not sure on this one, anything that can help my right hand with it's RSI would be good but on the other hand it may get in the way and be a distraction  Very Happy

I'm looking for advice here, from my fellow Nutters. It's ok young people like yourself mocking the afflicted, but these problems blight people's lives.
We've never made fun of your varicose veins,so just watch it.
Furthermore, that necklace turned out to be fake. I still wear it though. It sets off my perm.

Your luck is in Bonce 10 years ago i was desperate to stop having crippling migrains i was due to start having daily injections the following week it got so bad i violently threw up down a clients clevage one evening it felt like i was being stabbed in the head. I also lost all vision then i met this woman on the sunday who sold me a copper magnetic flow bracelet for fifty quid i was desperate so i paid it and did it work? I have not had one since the day i put it on  seriously not fucking about here they work but get an expensive one not a tenner job. Think mine was magna flow or something and the only time i ever took it off was when i had to go in one of those hospital magnetic scanner things that make a banging noise due to some fucker hitting me from behind on the head with a brick but it was ok the brick came off worst. I got her number somewhere if you want it.

Thanks for that AD. I'll look into it. Just shows you that, whatever the experts say,if it works for you,go for it.

I wear a copper bracelet, but only because I can't afford gold.

Even if it's placebo effect there seems to be some value in wearing copper bracelets. The muscles are electrically controlled and copper is one of the best conductors of electricity so it may be beneficial I'm all for "Old wives' tales." Some of them seem like they work for some.

I wont ever be without it before that nothing worked drug wise and i tried some pretty wierd stuff like an american indian who said that if i got someone to divert the blood from my head by pulling hard on my hair well it didn't work but you will try anything when it's that bad, you get one mate it's worth a try. I have a touch of arthritis in my right knee from the gym over the years it doesn't hurt at all i only know it's there cos it crunches and showed up on an x-ray.

My new copper band has worked a treat. After a day I stopped needing painkillers.
I know the experts say they don't work, but whatever is going on,I'm happy.

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

My dad wore one of those for years and swore it helped his arthritis. If it has the right effect then never mind what the experts say.

They don't like it Bonce because it doesn't make them or the drugs companies any money and all that studying medicine goes out the window when you go buy natural remedies. Another bang on remedy is if you got raised blood pressure the doc will give two different types of pills when two glasses of Beetroot Juice sweetened with a little Apple Juice will give you the BP of a Teenager and you can buy it from tesco or Asda or the others. Suffer from a little anxiety ?the doc will class it as depression and put you on some evil drugs when all you need is a bottle of Rescue Remedy when an attack is imminent I know because I got five sons going through uni, driving tests, girl trouble etc it works.

I remember a scientist saying that natural cures for almost anything can be found in nature,if we take the trouble to look.

Typo. I seem to have missed the "s" out of cure.
