That doesn't make sense. Are you telling me that someone designed a lift were they put 100 buttons all in a straight line going vertical?rammywhite wrote:Boggersbelief wrote:There’s a guy that lives on the 100th floor of a block of flats, everyday on his way home from work he gets the elevator to the 60th floor and walks the rest. Why does he do this?
Because he's a dwarf and can't reach the button for the 100th floor.
Time for me to leave

No- they were in 4 lines of 25. But the wee fella could only reach as high as 60. He could also reach 15,30 and 45!
Be sensible!!

Obviously. Although I'm sure a keypad system would work better and would be easier to implement and wouldn't discriminate against the vertically challenged.rammywhite wrote:DEANO82 wrote:That doesn't make sense. Cheers Rammy, Finished nearly 3 years of treatment a month ago, and now getting my CT scan to see whether it can be considered as gone, (we know it never really goes, but whether it can be considered dormant).rammywhite wrote:Glad you're staying Glos- we big C survivors need to stick together
I'm feeling fine, and have retained my even temperament, stunning and good looks, along with my delusions

I was at the Christie this week where I was given the all clear- seems the cancer has been cleared up after a fairly substantial bit of surgery and lots of chemo to get rid of it.. Its an annual CT scan and colonoscopy from now on for the next five years. Like you say. we' never really clear of it but its all looking hopeful.
More hopeful than BWFC anyway

Cheers Wander. Its not talking/reading about the Tories, Trump, or Brexit, that has helped me
Rammy, thats brilliant news for you. Well done mucker. You'll be wanting to do a half marathon next, (just a gentle start for you) Next CT is the baseline to show whether I'm close to falling off my perch, or can roll on regardless. My head tells me its definitely the latter.

You won't be wanting to hear from me then!
But seriously, pleased your health is good (you too rammy) and that you are staying on the site.

Just waiting to see how the conversations change, and in what direction they go,once we've either stumbled, or been pushed, out of the EU. Until that happens, there's no sense in anything.

It looks like I have a lot of catching up to do on here due to my 3 week? absence.gloswhite wrote:You lot are a pain in the arse.
I'd made my mind up to wander of into the sunset, and actually felt better for it. I then received PM's, and comments on the thread, but one of the nicest ones I received was from TROY. (Seems he's actually a nice person-ish ) Sluffy was very good too.
I know I'm going to come across as a bit of a Diva, but how could I leave such a bunch of malcontents, deviants, and all round good fellows, (includng Nat).
Sluffy, please cancel my request to delete my account, it seems you're stuck with me for a little while longer.
Thanks all. This strange community has surprised me yet again.
regards to all
