Transfer rumours !

Can't see that we will pay a fee for two strikers, Although Madine held up play and was good in the air outside the box, he rarely hit the target with headers looking at this guy on you tube (not an exact science) he seems to find the target.

My take on things is this, until a striker was signed all the other deals like Hobbs etc are on hold. If we sign Josh then hopefully we will fill in the others.

The defence scares me to death, no cover for Keeper, centre backs or left back.  So upfront we have Le Fondre same as, Donaldson better than Wilbraham, Magennis filling in for Madine not really he left in January, Hall for Clough so other than Walker we look more mobile with more options.

So this is the 'better quality of player' that we are going to bring in ????? FUCKING SERIOUSLY !!!!!!!!!

Like the look of Magennis, big lad but looks like he can play a bit. He has also scored more international goals than the rest of the squad put together., Including 1 against Germany ( when they were world champions).

If this is supposed to be our main striker next year we’re down. I very rarely criticise any player before they turn out for us but I’ve seen him play a lot for a few sides, a friend of mine has played with him regularly. He’s an ex-goalkeeer turned striker - and he looks like it.

Word is, Sunderland are on the brink of announcing Charlie Wyke has signed from Bradford City. The 25-year-old has been top of the Black Cats wishlist for some time but the Wearsiders have faced competition from the likes of Bolton, Preston North End and Aberdeen for his signature.
