According to Burnden Aces there is going to be a protest before, during and after the home game with West Brom on 21st January.

Burnden Aces wrote:The following is a joint statement, posted on behalf of Burnden Aces, Lion of Vienna Suite, Trotters Blog, The Burnden Way and fans of Bolton Wanderers Football Club.

"The name of Bolton Wanderers has been dragged into the mud continuously in recent times.

"This once proud football club has been subject to humiliation, with winding-up orders and failure to pay the wages of the players and staff.

"The lives of non-footballing staff, as well as those who have moved to Bolton on the pretence of a long-term career, have been messed about due the mismanagement of the club by Ken Anderson.

"Considering all of this, we feel as if there is no other option than to organise a protest before, during and after the game against West Bromwich Albion on Monday 21st January.

"In front of the Sky cameras, we need to voice our discontent.

"This is our football club and we shouldn't stand idly by and watch it disappear."

Is this the most pointless protest in history seeing as the Chairman is unlikely to be at the game? Or is this the only way forward? Will we all be dancing in the centre circle and getting the game abandoned come the 21st?

We should all throw slippers onto the pitch. I'd gladly clear them up later.

This has been brewing on facebook for the last week and before today i would have said it wouldn't attract many people but now i can see the turnout being a lot bigger.

KA can never show his face at the match again, he would be lynched but something needs to be done to show what a mess he is making of our beloved club.

Would it not be a better protest if everyone just boycotted the game?

There wouldn’t be enough police to stop a good riot if enough people brought a baseball bat. Very Happy

I would prefer more direct action, ideally a group of Bolton's finest pay him a surprise visit at home one night to discuss his responsibilities as the club's owner.
When Rio Ferdinand was banned from football for 8 months for refusing to give a urine sample, he received  a surprise home visit from some Man Utd fans and was a changed man after a frank discussion about his responsibilities.

Where is forest green?  Im shit at geography.  A better protest would be to turn up at one of their games with bolton shirts.  Pack their ground for them.

That's a great idea if enough went along. It would certainly get TV coverage.
Difficult to see the value of protesting at the Macron if Anderson has already hopped it...
