According to Burnden Aces there is going to be a protest before, during and after the home game with West Brom on 21st January.
Is this the most pointless protest in history seeing as the Chairman is unlikely to be at the game? Or is this the only way forward? Will we all be dancing in the centre circle and getting the game abandoned come the 21st?
Burnden Aces wrote:The following is a joint statement, posted on behalf of Burnden Aces, Lion of Vienna Suite, Trotters Blog, The Burnden Way and fans of Bolton Wanderers Football Club.
"The name of Bolton Wanderers has been dragged into the mud continuously in recent times.
"This once proud football club has been subject to humiliation, with winding-up orders and failure to pay the wages of the players and staff.
"The lives of non-footballing staff, as well as those who have moved to Bolton on the pretence of a long-term career, have been messed about due the mismanagement of the club by Ken Anderson.
"Considering all of this, we feel as if there is no other option than to organise a protest before, during and after the game against West Bromwich Albion on Monday 21st January.
"In front of the Sky cameras, we need to voice our discontent.
"This is our football club and we shouldn't stand idly by and watch it disappear."
