That is British law. However she's a way off a British Embassy and the Government understandably hasn't spent any effort on going to find her and made it clear she'll be "interviewed" if she comes back.

Frankly it doesn't matter a f*** what she said about her regrets, IS or the Manchester bombing because she has the same rights as Tommy The Puppet Robinson to say whatever she wants. However, as the legal system is based on the personal opinion of the judge or jury, the way she was reported to have said it may have a bearing on what happens to her if she comes back.

Her mother is still a Bangladeshi national and apparently under Bangladeshi law children of their nationals automatically become nationals also - so she has/had dual national even though she wasn't born, or even visited, there.

The stripping of British citizenship will therefore not make her stateless.

Apparently another twelve British jihadi brides have turned up at the camp - hope they have dual nationality too!

This Bangladeshi citizenship is in dispute.
