when not so long ago he called Natasha a 'daft bint'

I didn't even think my post was racist, Ive asked somebody who is a Muslim and has been to Dubai several times if he found it racist... he said no.

He agrees with me that political correctness is taken to far.

he also does not know what the 'tea towel thing' is called - he calls it a tea towel thing/rag too...

You're right, if your muslim friend who has been to Dubai several times says so then 'rag head' isn't a racist word.

'Rag-head'- has been used for a long time by idiots to describe Arabs in a derogatory way. You may not of meant it to be derogatory but that's how it appears in my eyes.

'Pot smokers'- is not derogatory in any way, more of an observation. I doubt anybody has ever used it to try and insult the Dutch, and doesn't refer to race or creed. Hence not racist.

For what it's worth I agree that the racism card is overplayed quite often, but this is not one of those times.

I assume a tea towel is quite a modern thing and so does not have the same 'old derogatory connotations' that you find so offensive. I will edit my original post and change it to 'tea towel head' ... is that ok? actually, il change it to 'The thing I or nobody else knows the name of, that resembles a tea towel' ... just to avoid any element of doubt that im implying that its an ACTUAL tea towel. ok?
