This is what I was worried about White.
Top earner, past his peak, hasn't done anything for a couple of seasons, limited time for ROI and a fee.
Don't do it Evatt!!! You can do better.

Tyrese Owen - is he actually on trial with us?
I know he was due to try out at Derby, but Barnes wrote we are "submitting an offer" for him - and surely we wouldn't be doing that without having a good look first?

Good move for the lad, he needs games and he isn’t going to get those here at the moment.

A disgrace! And he's gone straight into the team for tonights promotion clash with Fylde, despite Chorley being on an amazing run of late.
I expect defeat, with lots of tippy-tappy possession in defence and no cutting edge in attack.
Evans out.

Absolutely predictable!
It took just 93 seconds for the Bolton influence to make an appearance. The Chorley defence gave a poor back pass to the keeper, who just beat the forward to the ball but only managed to blast the ball at the striker's arse and it looped into the net.
It's the Bolton way.
Still, after being 2-0 down Chorley equalised in the 94th minute to keep their run going.
The Chorley v Bolton league match could only be a couple of seasons away.

Tick tock on the transfer window and another day without any news. Maybe tomorrow?
The Gillingham lad can play a bit and gets up and down from box to box, but whilst the ball's left in their court and they are without a manager I can't see them making a decision in a hurry, so I hope other options are being explored.

Players linked with Bolton transfer as Wanderers face competition for Swansea City midfielder
Yan Dhanda
According to Sky Sports, Wanderers are among several League One sides who are interested in Swansea City's Yan Dhanda.
The 23-year-old is attracting attention from Bolton, Burton Albion, Plymouth Argyle and Crewe Alexandra.
It is reported that MLS club DC United are also in talks to sign the Swans man and the player wants to move to the club where he will get the most first team minutes under his belt.
Jordan Shipley
CoventryLive highlighted reports that Bolton Wanderers, Oxford United and Shrewsbury Town all reported to be interested in his services in the January transfer window.
Shipley is 24-years-old and has been with Coventry for the whole of his career so far.
He has played 153 times for the Sky Blues and scored 19 goals, but has played only four times this season for Coventry as he has found game time hard to come by, but scored against QPR.
The midfielder's contract with the Sky Blues runs out this summer.
Dean Campbell
Bolton Wanderers have been linked with a January transfer window loan swoop for Aberdeen midfielder Dean Campbell.
According to Football Insider, Wanderers are amongst three clubs interested in taking Dons man Campbell on loan.
It is claimed that Bolton as well as League Two duo Forest Green Rovers and Port Vale are interested in the 20-year-old's services, with the Scottish side said to be happy for him to go to another club and get minutes under his belt.
Kyle Dempsey
Bolton Wanderers have submitted bids for Gillingham captain Kyle Dempsey.
The midfielder is out of contract at the Priestfield club this summer and Wanderers have targeted the former Fleetwood Town man to strengthen their options in that area of the pitch.
Wanderers have seen a first bid rejected, but have submitted a second one and it remains with the Gills, who are currently without a permanent boss, for consideration.

Whilst the MEN is reporting this, the BN is going with Dempsey plus one other. All these players are similar so I'm wondering if the others listed by MEN are alternatives to Dempsey if that deal isn't concluded?
I like Yan Dhanda - bit lightweight and doesn't score a lot, but great feet and excellent passing and distribution - easy on the eye this lad. Dempsey might be a better option for us though as he's a hard worker box to box and can play a bit.

Yes. Thank you for remembering. Took a bit longer than I expected for it to come out.
I wonder if we are still getting any of the others mentioned. If we land Dempsey and one more, wow. What a window its been..

According to my Rotherham pals, they’re disappointed to see him go and wish him well. It seems that he didn’t fit in with Warne’s style of play which asks questions why he signed him. He’s been played mainly as a wing back or out wide but neither position seemed to suit him. They reckon he’d have been better as a No10 but Warne never played one. They reckon he can shoot though, is a good crosser of the ball but shirks a challenge. Let’s see where IE decides to play him, maybe he’ll be a better fit in our system than the more direct Millers style?
