There might have been one or two who mentioned him but the poll that ran on the BN website had Hughes as runaway favourite.

I specifically remember people on BB changing their votes as soon as Coyle emerged as a candidate.

anyway it's largely irrelevant.

It was embarrassing the way we head-hunted Coyle from a club already on the slide downwards.
