Iceland are the biggest producers of bananas in Europe. Who'd have thought it.

Was rummaging in the first aid box this morning, and came across a tube of Germolene, and, of course, I couldn't resist having a sniff.
I was immediately transported back to childhood. TCP has a similar effect, as does Kiwi shoe polish and Valderma.
Strange what memories a smell can trigger.

Never used that. Sounds like something prescribed by a witch doctor.Cajunboy wrote:

You don't see TV repair men any more. The bloke from Bullough's used to sort ours out. All those valves and wires. We had a sixpence in the slot one once. It was a big day when a guy came to empty it.
We had a sodding indoor aerial too. What a pain that was.
Happy days, or so I'm told.

Jane Garvey is to leave Woman's Hour. It's on the main page of the BBC news website.
Is this big? I'm not up on these things.

She was married to Adrian Chiles for 11 years.
I think it was his constant wittering about West Brom that caused their divorce.

I didn't even know they still sold Wagon Wheels. Last time I remember having one was at Burnden.

I wondered who'd be the first to mention that. As far as I know, we have no connection.Sluffy wrote:Any relation of yours Bonce?
