Fecking Virgin BB has been up and down like a yoyo since around lunch today!!!

Was rummaging in the first aid box this morning, and came across a tube of Germolene, and, of course, I couldn't resist having a sniff.
I was immediately transported back to childhood. TCP has a similar effect, as does Kiwi shoe polish and Valderma.
Strange what memories a smell can trigger.

You don't see TV repair men any more. The bloke from Bullough's used to sort ours out. All those valves and wires. We had a sixpence in the slot one once. It was a big day when a guy came to empty it.
