I do like tea and must have a cup first thing, if I don't have a cup then there's trouble brewing. I once threatened a so called boss because he was having a go at me for having a 'first brew'. Even the 7th Armoured Division in North Africa stopped for a brew.

The next one I have tried is:

Its quite nice, but only 3rd in my list behind Star Bucks Instant & Kenco Colombian..

I have never really been that keen on Starbucks coffee. I think I had a crap cuppa there years ago and I havent been in one since. I always go in Nero's failing that Costa Coffee seems okay

as far as coffee vending branches are concerned - Starbucks is a load of mass-marketed shite. They cut corners with everything and use cheap inferior ingredients, they do well becasue people suffer from what I call 'apple syndrome' - this is where people believe apple products are superior becasue they are well marketed (Nat is our resident advertising and marketing guru I understand so she should be able to back me up on how good marketing sells products) when in fact anything from Apple is overpriced shite...

Costa is the way forward, they use 2 shots of espresso in there lattes and cappuccino's and the coffee they use is a better quality bean.

I have a friend who is a Barista/Trainer for Ille (an espresso company) so i have all this on good authority...

I have a coffee maker but never use it as it's a pain in the arse to clean. On the rare occasion that I get a lie-in with the missus it's a 12 cup cafetiere of anything >grade 4 strength, but most days I can't be arsed with that either so it's two heaped teaspoons of Millicano and a sweetener to get me moving in the morning.

I dont know why people drink weak tea or weak coffee as it tastes like shit and no caffine hit. It's like going in to your local and asking the barman for a bottle of non alcoholic lager and some ice and water to dilute it.

Got myself some Cafe Direct - Rich Roast (Strong Strength), described as "deliciously dark & rich" - This is the best coffee I have tried...Its freshly ground coffee - Bought for approx £3.50 from Asda (227g)

I have a coffee percolator but it only comes out at Christmas. I much prefer tea and you can't beat starting the day with a steaming mug of tea with milk and two sugars. I will occasionally have a flask of coffee with a tot of whisky in it when I am driving in winter.

The Lyons original medium roast 3 strength is not bad but if I do have coffee then I just have Douwe Egberts instant. I met Douwe once when I was looking for scouting sponsorship for Brother Darequam. He was a smashing fellow apart from the fact that he wore a syrup.

Just tried that nescafe azera. Pretty dam good!

Next on my coffe list is Percol Americano - Very Nice, this is my new fave!! And much cheaper than the starbucks instant, which now drops to 2nd on my list.

Decsribed as Richly roasted aroma, full-bodied with a subtle mix of coffee, chocolate and vanilla flavours
