"According to reports Manchester United icon Roy Keane is being linked with the job at Bolton Wanderers.

The Irish Independent claims Keane is eager to return to managerial action following a 21-month break from the game.

He appeared to be on his way to Turkey to take up a managerial position with Kasimpasa.

However, the recent resignation of Steve Kean at Blackburn Rovers has appeared to have changed his mind.

At Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is under pressure and another defeat could spell the end of his tenure at the Reebok and Keane would no doubt be in the frame to take over."

Keane spent a bomb at Sunderland and didn't exactly set the world on fire. He then went to Ipswich where it worked out disastrously. I would be very underwhelmed by such an appointment.
