Not a chance, prefer to protect the phone from the guaranteed dropping. It will be an expensive mistake

Probably right, and knowing my record it might be days, rather than months before disaster strikes. The family are taking bets. Maybe I should rethink.BoltonTillIDie wrote:Not a chance, prefer to protect the phone from the guaranteed dropping. It will be an expensive mistake

Not worth the risk Boncey get the case back on!boltonbonce wrote:Free at last! Free at last!
Free from what I hear you ask. Or not. Maybe Lineker is the only story.
What I'm free of, is my iPhone case, that big lump of rubber that sits around my phone, gripping it like that horrible thing on John Hurt's face in ALIEN.
Suddenly, my sleek, rather beautiful iPhone, emerges, like a butterfly, and is free to show its gaudy colours to the world.
I'm pretty sure, of course, that it's likely to take a fateful tumble down the steps to the upper West Stand, and lie cracked and broken at the bottom. But I'm willing to take that chance.
Anyone else go case free?

It must be an age thing because I've never had a case for my phone.
I think, generally speaking, that us oldies don't use a phone every two minutes like you youngsters do, so as the saying goes, our lack familiarity with them doesn't breed the contempt (and carelessness) when we use them.
It's a bit like a special occasion when I need to use the phone, so much so that I tend to stop (if I'm walking) and also need to use both hands when I tap in the number, look things up, or text, etc.
I am in awe as to how the youngsters, like my daughter seem to use their phones one handedly and as far as I can tell, subconsciously, whilst they they are on the go, without pausing whatever it is they are doing at the time.
They also seem very slapdash as to how they treat their phones too, in fact it doesn't surprise me in the least how many cracked screens I often see of theirs.
Maybe I've jinxed myself now and will very soon drop and smash my phone but I doubt I will as I simply don't have the skill set to use my phone as most do, simply because I don't have the practice of using it 24/7 as they seem to do.
I'm also not a big drinker these days and I highly suspect that many phones get dropped after a gin or two (it certainly has happened more than once to Miss Sluffy's phone!).

Dropped it in the kitchen this morning. Luckily, no damage.
Looks like the case is going back on.

2/1 with bet365, so I'll probably stick it in a multiple. Due a win, and today might be the day.Cajunboy wrote:ISSUIUNG AUTHORITY is running tomorrow.
