Who sings it the best and who's song is it really?

Just seen the Celtic fans sing before Barcelona match - wish we had a song all the fans sung together (apart from We're the one and only Wanderers)

I assume Celtic had it first and the scousers robbed it. (Sounds about right anyway...)
