A few thoughts from the realm of Twitter. A theme seems to be that we're taking good followings away this season. I agree, it's good to see it. But it won't last unless we start moving up the table ASAP.

Er, yes. We took 3,500 to Huddersfield for a midweek game the last time we played them. They won 3-2 in an absolute cracker.

We won 3-2 Natasha, I was there and remember the game well.

They beat us 3-2 in 1999 at their place, i'm sure of it. Maybe it's another game you are thinking of LT?

The game I'm thinking of was probably the best game I ever saw where we lost. We were absolutely superb in the second half with Claus Jensen and Michael Johansen playing blinders. I think Holdsworth & Johansen scored.

For those with longer memories I am sure we beat them 3-1 at Burnden Park in the eighties. I remember it because one of the scorers was none other than ' Jolting ' Jeff Chandler.

I think the inappropriately named John Thomas scored as well that day.

You were thinking of the '99 game, yes. However you did put in your first post in this thread that Huddersfield beat us the last time we played them away. When it wasn't, it was the time before that. Incorrect stats are something that must always be corrected!
