It happened before when Sean was able-bodied didn't it? Or doesn't that count as he was short of an e?

You're the only one that seems to have a problem with it..

Wonder if they're all distant relatives of Eddie and we are victims of some perverse and convoluted exercise in nepotism?

Looks like proof that we are only aiming at finishing the season in the Championship. Although to be really sure Dougie needs to get rid of Mears and sign a couple of defenders.
Or he could stop impersonating Coyle and try playing Riley and Sordell.

He also looked impressive at the reebok and I'm sure he'll bang them in for us, he's into double figures already playing for the bottom side.. He won't cut it in the prem but he could be that firepower we need for a charge to the play offs, now we just need some defenders!
I believe he's scored 18 goals in 83 appearances at this (Championship) level - but hopefully he can improve on that. Of those, he's got 8 in 20 this season in league matches so he's already on the rise - so maybe this is the right time to get him?

This reminds me of the day we almost signed Wayne Biggins.

I think he will do a job for us but I'd much prefer Troy deeney from watford.

He has scored 19 in 53 appearances since joining from Chesterfield. Didn't SKD come from there?

Craig Davies is a decent signing. He's a big lad, strong and quick, he should be ideal in the lone striker role. I think he's out of contract in the summer, so he's hardly likely to cost a fortune from Barnsley.
We just need 3 defenders and another midfielder, we might still win the league yet!

I believe that we are close to signing a defender from Norway as well.

Didn't we already sign a striker from Watford. I can't be sure because I have never seen him play.

Yes he did. He scored a hat trick against us in a cup game. Just like Eaves.

Oh for the days when we used to chase players like Rivaldo.

So we can't buy anyone from watford again? Just because sordell has a bad attitude. Makes sense..

New slovakian might be being signed up as well apparently. Never heard of the guy but at least we're taking a gamble. Jan Gregus he's called

I don't care where we get them from. What pisses me off is spending millions on a player and then never giving them a chance. There are lots of reasons for saying that Coyle was a rubbish manager but decisions like buying Sordell elevate him to levels of managerial stupidity only matched by Lee in our lifetime.

If Nixons twitter comments are anything to go by, I'm optimistic. FOUR signings lined up all "with something to prove" (which should liven up the current lot, plus Holden and Vela close to a return.

WANDERERS are due to discuss a deal with Slovakia Under-21 international Jan Gregus.
The 21-year-old has impressed since joining the club on trial from Banik Ostrava a week ago and could be offered a contract in the next few days.
Gregus has 14 under-21 caps and two goals for his country and primarily operates in central midfield.
He would offer competition to Jay Spearing and Keith Andrews, along with returning pair Stuart Holden and Josh Vela.
Talks are planned for the weekend although the size of the transfer fee is not yet known.

The thing is, sordell IS good enough! He's just immature and his attitude stinks, he needs to grow up abit and realise that you have to work hard in this life if you want to be successful. Sadly his time is running out here and another team will reap the rewards once he pulls his finger out.
