Reo-Coker sitting in the holding role behind Holden and mavies does sound good I must admit.

He's behaving like a knob in terms of finding a good contract for someone of his age but could do a job for us. Suspect he will have to lower his expectations if anyone is ever going to sign him long-term. Prefer him to Andrews, and Spearing isn't ours, so I think he could be that defensive mid we need. But tinkering with the midfield isn't going to make a massive difference until we get a solid back four to build upon and that's where all our efforts should be focussed. If the club want to tinker with something it should be finding the right attacking combination - but the back four (or five) need an urgent overhaul. Not worried about the midfield - we are "adequate" in that department.

I will respectfully disagree .....I thought he was our most effective midfielder. I'm not saying he was a great fooballer but good for us. Look at the state of our mid field currently. Have we replaced him? not IMO.

Muamba has not been replaced either .....and for those with short memories....before he went sick half the supporters wanted him run outta town as well.

Hindsight is grand int it.

We don't need him. We can only have a limited number of players in our squad and we have enough midfielders with what we've got. Dougie needs to shore up the back line and get the deep midfielders talking to the defenders so that they know they're playing for the same team

The way some of our fans talk about NRC is disgraceful. He was excellent for us last season, who could blame him for exercising his right to leave? He isn't a Bolton fan, he clearly believes he is a premier league player and wanted to play there. I wonder how many of our cuntish fans who slaughter him would have stayed at a relegated club if they were in his shoes? NRC is too good for our pile of shite of a football team. We are shit and are going nowhere.

You bellend, Bolton.

We are Bolton, the greatest club on Earth. You don't hand in a transfer request hours after you've just helped your club to relegation.

Anyone wanting this twat back has absolutely no pride. It's like being dumped by your husband for a younger model and then taking him back when his dick's worn out.

There's no place for pride in a business deal, and I'm sure that if he was signed up he'd do the requisite PR grovelling to the fans. I just think that it won't happen.

Some on here better realize that football is a business ....not like the old days when players were local lads and loyal to their home town club. If fact I will argue that if BWFC had a starting 11 of all foreigners who never ever heard of bloody bolton and were tearing up the league .....everyone would be happy.

Nat you slag, I find it amusing that you see the thought of us trying to sign NRC again like a woman taking her hubby back after he has cheated on her. FFS, how stupid can you get? I wonder how many people here would be loyal to an employer you've worked at for pne year if you had a chance of more cash and better prospects elsewhere for doing the same job? In fact it's not even the money that NRC left for.

I wouldn't have him back. Not because he's a ship jumping mercenary, because that includes 80% of the population, never mind footballers but because he's no better than what we currently have. He's no improvement on Andrews or Spearing, Villa fans named him Nigel Mediocre when he was there, which just about sums him up.

So yes come on back ....and make him the Captain while your at it.

He was only fighting mad when we were relegated because he know his wages would be dropping too. Don't let the wanker kid you.

If he was that good he would have kept us up. Plenty of hype with NRC but very little substance.
