Anyone watching this ? I think it's quite a decent game. Cahill cocked it up for their goal but Hart's penalty save has given us the upper hand.
England V Brazil.

Good old Gary, always worth a goal start to the opposition.

He got caught in possession but it was a belter from Fred.

If England win this it makes them firm favourites for the world cup.

A good win, only our 4th against Brazil. Good to see Lampard bag the winner.

Did the commentator just say a win against "the best in the business"
....... Brazil were wretched.

Brazil were poor in the second half but a win is a win.

Wilshere looked class tonight. He deserves all the plaudits

Leighton Baines gets better and better every time I see him.
Wilshere was good again and his slide through balls are a joy.
Walcott is still a runner who either runs into an opposition player or runs till he runs out of pitch.
Joe Hart is a monster and his distribution from the ball at his feet is better than a lot of centre backs out there.
What I will say is that Ashley Young shouldn't get any where near that team when he's fit.

I think we have the makings of a decent squad. I agree about Young,he has become spoilt since he left Villa for United. Walcott and Sturridge up front with Rooney just behind them and Wilshere bossing midfield should create a few goals.

No Welbeck Reebok Trotter?
I think that he's come a long way and it was only a year ago that I was saying how he was never a international player.

I rate Welbeck but he hasn't got Walcotts pace, plus I reckon Roy has a soft spot for Andy Carroll and I can see him usurping Welbeck when he is fully fit.

Brazil are not half the team they were a few years back, though i'm guessing that wasn't their strongest side they put out.
Walcott and Baines have really stepped it up this season IMO, still unsure over welbeck though to be honest.

Fred came on as a sub but I thought he outshone Oscar and Neymar.

I think Welbeck is very overrated.
Walcott and Sturridge have more to offer to England at the moment.
How crap was Neymar!

IMO the most over rater player on the pitch last night was David luiz, he's aweful.

We were linked with Fred once upon a time if I'm not mistaken.

He's another Nani, moments of inspiration once every 4 months, obviously has skill but that isn't enough I'm afraid.
Brazil are a spent force.
Didn't England beat Spain just before the Euros? I seem to remember that being a "watershed" moment too.
Wilshere is just quality though, brilliant player. "he's not that good though" according to some of our fans.
