Totally agree. I would be sad to see him leave but he just isnt up to it any more

It's not as though we've got 5 top class strikers competing for his place is it? When we start to dominate midfield and the strikers get loads of proper chances and someone else puts them away then maybe there's a case for saying goodbye to the lad, but when we do we should show some appreciation.

Showing appreciation is not our way - just ask Campo, Jay-Jay, Nolan, Bibi etc.

That said Jay Jay went to Qatar with our blessing for the money after he was scammed in Nigeria and Nobby wanted away and very few fans thought he was worth keeping at the time. But Campo was treated badly by all accounts.

Shows there are other teams as daft as us.

Common sense says that he will stay for his testimonial,because, lets be honet, at 35, he doesn't have a lot of games left in him, good or bad.

It mentions Sordell is linked to a move to Charlton? If there's anything in that story then I can't see us getting our money back, let alone making a profit. Don't mind him not playing if we're winning, but that's on the understanding that he's young and has his career ahead of him plus potential profits for us down the line, but a move to Charlton now would just be writing all that off.
