That Kevin Davies foul..

There were an number of things I was looking forward to seeing on MOTD but they never got mentioned.

One such incident was that KD foul on half way where he recklessly or dangerously slid in late on a Wigan player. A lot of Bolton fans in my section were tutting and booing. They also then boo'd when Davies was not subbed off.

Was anyone expecting a red?

FWIW I think booing our own player is harsh - even KD.

There was also the incident where Bogdan kicked the ball against the player and the attacker got yellow carded. Why? Very odd.

No i didn't expect a red because he didn't actually make contact.

It looked like the Wigan player made a massive meal of it, even though the tackle did look quite bad.

I do feel sorry for Davies for the stick he gets at games as I think even he knows he's shit.

From where I sit, I actually thought he could be off here but being on the other side of the pitch it's hard to call.

I feel for Davies aswell to be honest, he seems to have been made a scapegoat for everything that is going wrong at bolton at the minute. Booing is just out of order.

Kevin Davies earns huge amounts of money yet can't even do the basics like control a ball.

If he was a lawyer, accountant or any other highly paid job he would have been sacked by now.

I didn't mean booing is always out of order, I have done it a few times this season (united and chelsea at home). But I don't think booing was called for when Davies went off on Saturday.

I think some even did it when Eagles went off, why I don't know, the guy had a shocker.

These players are taking the piss, I'd like to see them booed ONTO the pitch because clapping them definitely isn't working.

Yeah that was a bit of a low point.

FWIW I've nothing bad to say about his career here, a true gent, been terrific for us. I feel sorry for him that he's still being asked to lead the line for a struggling club.

I don't like some of the things she's said on twitter but that article didn't annoy me. It was just a "perspective" from the other side of the fence.

Bollocks, I have no doubt she wanted a move away from Bolton so she could get her hands on the fat signing on fee.
