With 3 strikers on the bench, if we get injuries we'll have little option but to attack.Keegan wrote:I'm a little surprised about Butterfield/Ricketts, tbh - I suspect the plan is to frustrate the Foxes then change shape and attack.

Butterfield is supposed to be the dogs bollocks.
Bogdan must be training well that's all I can say.
Medo will score.

I suspect its partly squad rotation, keeping it fresh

I can see a second half 4-3-3 formation looming.

Wow, weren't expecting that team news! I don't blame Dougie for going 4-5-1 and dropping Sordell, he's not been playing well. Be interesting to see how Vela does. Fingers crossed he can make an impression.
Come on Bolton! Lets bag them three points!

Nuggy is on the bench for them.
The Fox's team looks crap on paper, our team looks miles better.

I'v always preferred us in a 4-5-1. We look so much more comfortable.

Interesting team and subs bench. SKD must be feeling pretty low right now, I don't think we will see him feature again now. Didn't realise Eaves was back. Come on Bolton, win tonight and we will be looking in good shape. Massive game.

FFS why is it when a team has not won for like 10 games they always beat us. It hasn't been a bad night for us with forest losing and Brighton drawing. Still got 2 home games to come, only out of the play offs on goal difference.

I think Dougie will look back on this game and accept that he got his tactics wrong. We should have gone with 4-4-2 from the off. It showed in the 2nd half that we can create chances if we set our stall up correctly. As long as we beat Boro it will still be all to play for with 2 games to go and that is something that we couldn't have said last October.

I'm not surprised we went 4-5-1 tbh.
That said with our away form i doubt it would have even mattered.
Sounds like individual errors (again) from butterhead cost us and a couple of shots off the bar might have been the difference!

Leicesters remaining games are Palace(a), Watford(H) and Forest(A).
If we win our two home matches it might be enough.

No point dwelling on this now, we have a massive game on Saturday.
Forest and palace losing helps somewhat.
We're still very much in this guys!
