That was my point.

Unless Megson had intended to change Bolton's style, Elmander was clearly the wrong player to buy.

Makes you wonder how some of the players we buy have ever been properly scouted and assessed - clearly not in Elmanders case.

Of course, but that's not how the world works is it. If you buy something you expect to get value for money.

If you paid £20m for a player worth £7m and £1m for a player worth £3m, would you be more inclined to pick the latter?

You're just being stupid now. You don't buy a £7m player for £20m.

Don't call my mate doffcocker stupid, he makes a very good point. So button it.

That explains his recent posts then.

This site isn't big enough for me and you Bolton. Move on please.

One thing about Ngog is that he can hold onto the ball and bring others into the play. He's not an out and out centre forward but he is still maturing. He could come good under Dougie unless Fulham come in with a crazy bid.

I agree RT, I thought he was excellent against Leicester and the more he plays the better he should get. I'm pretty sure that run of games was the longest of his career so no wonder he's been hit and miss.

Dougie's improved fitness regime should get more out of him.

I went with Yes, because we're getting short of Experienced players.

When I saw who was on the bench on Sat, I started worrying for us.
