That was a time before segregation, and loads of Bolton fans invaded their end for years, they couldn't cope with our supporters, and so the saying goes, a Blackpool fan went tooled up, a scuffle broke out in their Spion Kop and the knife got knocked out of his hand, a Bolton fan picked it up and did for him.Sgt. Just reading the thread on their forum Martin. They've banned a Bolton fan for an apparent racist comment, whilst allowing their fans to mock the disabled. Classy lot.

Iirc wasn't the Bolton fan who was charged with the murder actually acquitted at court? I think that's the thing that pisses off the Donkey Lashers the most. The fact that nobody was ever convicted of the murder.

Before my time but wasn't the lad who did it only 14 or 15 years old? He was arrested, interviewed and charged before they found out he was so young. The case against him fell apart because of this. Think the lad ended up moving abroad not too long later.
Or it might be a load of bullshit.
