Don't know if he would have affected the result yesterday? Maybe an aerial threat at set pieces in attack. No doubt the reason Wheater came on late in the game as he is the only player who attacks the ball - with the hounourable exception of Dawson and maybe Mills. The only explanation for Wheater's omission must have been he was not 100% for 90 minutes.
