Up until this season, I've been getting into away matches on under 16s tickets. I know I could still get away with it this season, but its the awkward moment at the turnstiles that's off-putting and also the worrying feeling the whole journey down that you might just get turned away.

I'm also the owner of an under 18s season ticket. I simply can't afford an adult's season ticket, so Bolton Wanderers could either have had my £50 and one more voice, or my nothing at all.

So to sum up, I don't have any morals when it comes to money in football. And I refuse to believe nobody on this forum hasn't bent the system themselves before, or would do so if they looked young enough. So fess up!

I'm at the other end, age wise, and pay full price, apart from when there are offers on or get a freebie.

Only time I've had a concession ticket, was away at Macc, it was over 60's there.

Games I have been to this season, so far, have only cost me GBP10.00 - and that included when United came to The Reebok. All thansk to a friend who helps to run a local youth football group who is registered with the Reebok for the discounted tickets.

I haven't paid to get into a home game for over a year now. I blag, threaten, put out, or whatever it takes to get a free ticket.

There is a story of a free game being played at the National Stadium (Jamaica) some years ago and a few guys made their way over the wall regardless. Old habits die hard!

All Bolton fans are frauds. Didn't Harry Redknapp once brand them the most fickle supporters in football?

Probably not. Sounds like a potentially good read if you can find us a link.

Football is no longer 'cheap' entertainment to many and I can understand why some try to get in the ground as 'cheaply' as possible.

I guess as long as the ground is not at capacity - ie people aren't depriving others willing to pay full price for admission a place - then the club would rather give admission away for 'free' simply to get bums on seats, a better atmosphere and money coming into the club by way of food, drink and the club shop etc - than not.

The problem however is that by doing so it will piss the people off who have bought season tickets just to see the same match in the very next seat to someone who has got it for 'free'.

Therefore a sort of compromise of paying £50 for the season and buying a shirt every season and a pie and a pint every game - for people who could otherwise not afford to attend at all - is better for the club than having non of that income and an extra empty seat.

I think what I'm trying to say is that if people can afford to pay for their seat - then they should do - and those that can't should be allowed access in some way rather than be excluded completely as this would be better for the club rather than have empty seats.

I think paying £50 for a season ticket is shameful. If you can't afford a ticket - do what a lot of people have to - and pick and choose which games you can afford and don't go.

It cost me £84 for three tickets for the Wigan game.

If everyone was a thieving ponce like you the club wouldn't cover its matchday costs.

Tosser.

Didn't Steve Kean once catch some fans climbing over the wall at Ewood Park? "Come back the game isn't finished yet" he shouted.

I totally disagree. If people did more to avoid paying these ridiculous prices the club would have to do something about it.

I am on a one woman crusade to bring the club down having not paid to watch Bolton at home for ages.

I agree that prices are high, but that's the same at every league ground in the country. My friend watches Walsall and it costs £21 to sit in the stand. Makes Bolton seem more competitive.

At least there's something that makes Bolton seem more competitive!

Football is getting way too expensive. It's the only thing that doesn't seem to take our current austerity measures into account.

£100 quid for two adult tickets to go and watch us against QPR and Chelsea. WTF do they think they are?

Especially when you see what they serve up. If players were on performance payments, I guarantee we would see more application on the pitch, but thats a different argument.

If you can't afford something, don't buy it. I'm not arguing football is reasonably priced. You wouldn't (I hope) rob something from your local shop and brag about it on here. Why is it ok because it's football?
