Who in your opinion is our funniest ever comedian.

I  love Harry Enfield , paul whitehouse, and the monty python team all the modern stuff but if i had to choose my top 3 would be Stan Laurel, Benny Hill, Tommy Cooper, my all time favorite is an american Oliver Hardy, i named one of my boys after him.

Sean Lock. He is superb. 
I used to like Hale and Pace back in the day.
I never liked Morecambe and Wise, maybe it was funny back when they were in their prime but when you watch it now its just pathetic and lame.

Stewart Lee...........Genius

Too many to have one favourite tbh. Manning wasn't PC but he always made me laugh with some of the stuff he came out with.

Best ever is always a difficult choice but if I had to pick one show that really made a difference I would choose Monty Python.

Best live act I've seen relatively recently was Jack Dee.

I also think Morecambe and Wise are and were massively over rated. And I'm old enough to have seen them in their prime.

I think it's sad how much Peter Kay has let himself down in recent years. Yes, he's gone downhill, but some of his material is still unbeatable for me.

I also love Harry Enfield, Steve Coogan, the Pythons, Barry Humphries as Dame Edna and dare I say it - a comediENNE...Caroline Aherne.

Whenever I have mentioned him before he hasn't gone down well but Lee Evans is my personal favorite comedian.
